Cambridge site

Opened in 2010, the Cambridge pharmaceutical production site is located in Hérouville Saint-Clair (Calvados). It is the Gilbert group’s largest site with almost 150 employees.

Equipped with alternating and rotating Bottelpack^® lines using Blow Fill Seal technology, it fulfils the worldwide demand for preservative-free sterile single doses.

This site alone yields 59% of the Group’s total production of single doses, equating to 900 million single doses per year, in a variety of formats (1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50ml). This capacity makes it one of the world’s biggest sites in this sector.

Between 2018 and 2020, the Group reinvested over 30 million euros to deploy two additional Bottelpack^® lines in January 2020, as well as a spray packaging line for manufacturing 50, 100 and 150ml products.

This investment led to the creation of 37 new jobs.

In particular, this site manufactures products from the Physiodose, Marimer and Dentinéa brands.
